Using the CarBuddy Portal
The CarBuddy portal at portal.carbuddyai.com gives your team visibility into campaign performance, data imports, and support.
Logging in
Visit portal.carbuddyai.com. You have two ways to sign in:
Option 1: Email code (default)
- Enter your registered email address
- Click Send sign-in code
- Check your inbox for a one-time code from CarBuddy
- Enter the code to sign in
Option 2: Password
- Click Password at the top of the login page to switch mode
- Enter your email address and password
- Click Sign in
If you don't know which method to use, try Email code first — it works for all accounts.
Resetting your password
If you've forgotten your password or need to set one up:
- Go to portal.carbuddyai.com/login
- Click Password to switch to password mode
- Click Forgot password?
- Enter your registered email address
- Check your inbox for a password reset link
- Follow the link to set a new password
If you don't receive the reset email within a few minutes, check your spam/junk folder. If it still hasn't arrived, contact your CarBuddy account manager or submit a support ticket.
Dashboard overview
After logging in, you'll see the Overview page with cards for each active campaign:
- Total Customers — how many people have been contacted
- Replies — how many customers replied (with percentage)
- Handed Over — how many qualified leads were passed to your sales team
Click any card to drill into the detail view, or use View stats by dealership to see a per-location breakdown.
Roles

Contact your CarBuddy account manager if you need a role adjusted.
Reports
The dashboard shows:
- Campaign overview — sends, reply rates, qualified leads for each active campaign
- Recipient review — inspect individual records, see their outreach history, mark as do-not-contact
- Import history — all data batches received, with row counts and quality scores
Uploading data
Use the Upload CSV button in the portal to submit a one-off data file. For recurring imports, set up SFTP instead. See the CSV format guide for required columns.
Support
Use the Support section in the sidebar to submit a ticket. The CarBuddy team receives an alert and will reply within one business day. Replies are sent to your registered email address.
Settings
SSH credentials for your SFTP integration are managed under Settings → SFTP Access. Contact your account manager to rotate credentials or reissue the private key.
