Getting Started with CarBuddy

Welcome to CarBuddy — AI-powered automotive communications that help your dealership re-engage lost sales, convert service customers, and engage website visitors.

How it works

CarBuddy connects to your existing data (DMS exports, SFTP feeds, or CSV uploads), identifies high-value outreach opportunities, and sends personalised multi-channel communications on your behalf. When customers reply, our AI continues the conversation and escalates genuine interest to your sales team.

Onboarding checklist

Work through these steps with your CarBuddy account manager to go live:

  • Account setup — Your CarBuddy account is created and you can log in at portal.carbuddyai.com
  • Data integration — Choose your data delivery method: SFTP, CSV upload, or API (coming soon)
  • Campaign configuration — Your account manager configures your first campaign type (Lost Sales, Service-to-Sales, or Webchat)
  • Sender identity verified — Your sending domain and email address are verified with SendGrid
  • Test run — A test batch is processed and reviewed with you before go-live
  • Go live — First real batch submitted and campaign activated

What to expect

After go-live, CarBuddy runs automatically. You'll see:

  • Campaign reports in the portal showing sends, replies, and qualified leads
  • AI conversations in progress with customers who have replied
  • Handover notifications when a customer is ready to hear from your sales team
